Different genres have various kinds of art characteristic, so dose chorus. With the development of the chorus, so far there are two kinds of genre, with or without accompany to the chorus. A cappella is the highest form of performance in the field of "chorus". With obtaining more attention and continuous demands by social governments, chorus art is developed constantly booming. However, in these mass choirs, they are lacking of understanding cappella. Therefore, the author briefly illustrates and analyzes some practice experiences during the rehearsal process, and also get the conclusion of a cappella in amateur chorus rehearsal techniques, singing features etc. That’s the true value of this article.This purpose of this article to explore the methods of training in amateur chorus a cappella works. The difference between amateur chorus and professional chorus is that amateur chorus is composed of those music lovers but have weak foundation or even no music theory and composition, because a cappella works without any accompaniment, mainly rely on the pure voice to show the form of art, and also no accompaniment guide, foil. So, to complete a cappella are far more difficult compare with chorus, that’s why the training requirements will be more stringent. Let these amateur chorus can be used to complete the a cappella choral works, you need to rehearse, aiming at different levels, different receiving ability of players, different training methods.This paper uses the theory basis and practice experiences to do the analysis. Firstly, I collected some information on a cappella references as my theoretical foundation, and also made reference about some music aesthetics, arts, humanities and other books to the comprehensive analysis of the development process and the cause of formation of chorus; secondly, I will apply the chorus theory into the rehearsal, and also we also need to summarize the problems come out through the training, in order to make the article more convincing and practical.A cappella singing form is different from others, it requires more attention about singers’ voices. Therefore during the training period, amateur chorus intonation problems is the first thing needs to be solved. First of all, a good trainer is ought to have a good recognition ability, and secondly regards to those players with no music foundation should from the shallower to the deeper or from simple to complex tone interval. Therefore, slowly training from the solfeggio, a little exercise chorus intonation solfeggio ability. In the cappella training should focus on another key area, is the voice training, one is to set up good sound ideas, correct vocalizations, the other needs to have the enunciation and articulation norms; in addition the expression of emotion, to command gesture understanding and so on these aspects are detailed in this paper involves in.Amateur chorus are very important in Chinese chorus field.
