Taking the speech act verbs in Chinese as a research object, we think it is acomplex and an interesting phenomenon. The study of verbs is always an importanttopic in Chinese grammar research, which has already achieved fruitful results so far.However, as we can see, the research of the speech act verbs taken as one importantbranch of verbs is rather small, especially when compared with those in Englishacademic in Europe and America.Based on cognitive semantics and pragmatics theory, and taking the Chineseverb usage dictionary in the speech act verbs compiled by Meng Cong and ZhengHuaide as the basic research object, we try to do a thorough research of all the speechact verbs in Chinese which are listed in the dictionary. Aimed at the defects andproblems, we hope that through the thorough study, the speech act of Chinese will becovered in a more comprehensive and in-depth way as well as the research on thespeech act verbs on semantic classification and pragmatic function.The first chapter is the introduction part, which sort out and introduce the currentresearch situation and the achievements of the theory of speech acts and speech actverbs related,as to show the study of nature and theoretical basis.The second chapter is from the angle of cognitive semantics in the speech actverbs in Chinese. First about the definition of the speech act verbs, as in how to definethem. Then the analysis of the semantic verb on the speech act, which tries to get allthe speech act of Chinese verb features classified. And also brielfy introduces English speech act verbs semantic dictionary written by A.Wierzbicka, which is hoped to helpto get the meaning and Inspiration on typology.The third chapter mainly examines the dominant in Chinese is "1+speech actverbs". According to Verschueren’s Adaptation Theory and on the basis of study inChinese, we can enter the explicit performative what speech act verb, and a completespeech act requires effective conditions and preparation of how.The fourth chapter mainly discusses another type of application of implicitperformatives. On the theory of Pragmatics(Grice’s cooperative principle)basis, westudied the two factors, as in mood and context on implicit performatives which areaffected by the two factors. And the relationship between implicit performatives andspeech act verbs. Finally, we discussed about the application of discourse markerswhich are from recessive to problem type formation.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part, mainly on the viewpoints of the paper,which arc summarized. The article pointed out that there are still doubts and defectsexisting, which are expected to be solved in the future in a more thoroughly study.
