Mr.Jiang Danshu(Jing Lu)is a scholarly artist and a witness and pioneer of the development of modern art education in our country.He shoulders the mission of innovating Chinese art,strives to develop art education,and devotes all his life to art education.Today the pillars of art in the art world are full of people taught by them,such as Pan Tianshou,Feng Zikai,Zheng Wuchang,Lai Chusheng,Mi Gu and so on.As the founder of modern art education and the disseminator of modern art education,Mr.Jinglu has made an indelible contribution to our art education and art theory research.During his more than 50 years of art education,he has always adhered to the educational concept of "harmony between China and the West",which has strongly promoted the development of art education in China’s early universities.This thesis focuses on the formation,connotation,achievement and influence of Jiang Danshu’s thought of "harmony between China and the West",mainly from four chapters.The first chapter traces back to the origin of Jiang Danshu’s thought of "harmony between China and the West",analyzes the formation background and connotation of Jiang Danshu’s thought of "harmony between China and the West",interprets the formation of Jiang Danshu’s thought of "harmony between China and the West" in terms of the background of the times,learning experience and teaching experience,thus reveals the connotation of Jiang Danshu’s thought of "harmony between China and the West".In the second chapter,we can find that Jiang Danshu was influenced by western art idea and scientific spirit when he wrote these works,and combined with his own research experience and teaching experience to make it fit for the goal of the textbook.The third chapter focuses on the practice of Jiang Danshu’s thought of "Harmonizing East and West" art education,inspects Jiang Danshu’s teaching practice and art creation from a multi-dimensional perspective,and gives examples to demonstrate its concrete contents.The fourth chapter is devoted to the contemporary examination of Jiang Danshu’s thought of "harmony between China and the West" in art education,and discusses in detail the enlightenment of Jiang Danshu’s thought of "harmony between China and the West" in art education to contemporary art educators and school art education.In today’s diversified art forms,Jiang Danshu’s thought of art education still has many shining points.This article embarks from the predecessor’s experience and the reality angle,carries on the ponder and the model to the current Chinese fine arts education development facing question.
