With the progress of science and technology,the network age of the rapid spread of information wave swept everyone,sudden information impact overturned people’s cognition of the world,and the collapse of the value system and desire to establish,in the information change so fast contemporary art context,spiritual expression more become frame painting as a visual signal mission.In the fast era,the nothingness of individual spirit has become the norm.How to freeze such changeable,nothingness,vague and ambiguous emotions or states on the canvas through the abstract logical relationship of specific aesthetic value? The character theme creation of nothingness and Freetion Series explores and reflects around this theme.The nothingness and freeze series works on the creative material is completely life,objective,but not traditional socialist realism,through reference gerhardt and Adri Andre artists,into the personal life experience,trying to express in the form of obscure aesthetic messy or absurd life.The frozen frame creates a sense of movement,nothingness,absurdity and surreality.The work presents a non-practical,non-utilitarian,and more "amateur" visual style,which just points to the contemporary people’s perceptual experience of the world and their own nothingness.This paper mainly discusses the source of topic selection,spiritual connotation,creative process and the reflection of nothingness and freeze series.
