| Feng Zikai（1898-1975）,formerly known as Fengrun,was later changed to Feng Zikai.His French name is Yingxing.He is a famous artist,educator and translator in the history of modern Chinese culture.His comics are favored by the world with the artistic thought of " The melody is elegant and popular " and the artistic characteristics of "small in the big,and there are aftersounds outside the string".Feng Zikai records his life with a gentle painting style,so as to explain his expectations for a peaceful,free and beautiful life to the world.As a visual cultural heritage,Feng Zikai’s cartoon is in line with the core values of contemporary socialism in China with its positive social influence.In this cultural context,the combination of posters and Feng Zikai cartoons meets the growing cultural needs of the public,and has both traditional charm and "contemporary" characteristics.Taking Feng Zikai’s cartoon image translation posters as an example,this paper takes it as a visual language symbol to interpret the interaction between Feng Zikai’s cartoon image translation and the visual communication of posters.Feng Zikai’s cartoon translation poster is the result of the integration of Chinese traditional virtues and new era values through artistic forms.It is connected with the times and presents the cultural dimension of "Modernity" with its artistic characteristics and publicity and education functions.This paper discusses the theme argument through four chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.This paper expounds the research background and significance of the theme of the paper,as well as the relevant research on Feng Zikai’s life,cartoon images and artistic thought at home and abroad.The second chapter analyzes Feng Zikai’s life experience,painting language and meaning,and analyzes Feng Zikai’s book illustrations,newspaper illustrations and advertising paintings,so as to further understand the contemporary value and communication significance of Feng Zikai’s cartoon translation posters.The third chapter discusses the realization of the social value of Feng Zikai’s cartoon image translation posters by introducing various characters and humanistic thoughts in Feng Zikai’s works,so as to demonstrate the theme of this paper.The fourth chapter discusses the application of Feng Zikai’s cartoon translation into posters in contemporary society and the value of public communication,so as to explore the functions of publicity,education and behavior guidance of posters themselves,and convey positive life attitudes and correct values to the public.Through the form of four chapters,this paper finally summarizes the full text,and comes to the conclusion that Feng Zikai’s comics,as a visual cultural heritage,serve the contemporary society and integrate with the socialist core values in the new era,which not only improves the public’s understanding of Feng Zikai’s comics,but also spreads the traditional virtues of China;It not only has the depth of history,but also has the sense of mission of the times. |
