Research On The Application Of Wuqiang New Year Painting In Decorative Paintings ——Take "Traces Of Color" As An Example

As one of the representatives of Chinese folk art,Wuqiang New Year Painting has a unique artistic style.It contains vivid images,bright colors and rough lines,which is a special painting style full of plentiful local flavor and ethic characteristics.After the analysis and summary of the current situation of Hengshui Wuqiang New Year Painting,the author has discovered that the heads of the figures were usually enlarged,which can be used to recreate the patterns in Wuqiang New Year Painting by combining the painting techniques of decorative paintings and the colors of Chinese New Year’s festival paintings.This paper has analyzed the inheritance relationship between patterns’ features in contemporary decorative paintings and those of Wuqiang New Year Painting,taking the patterns in Wuqiang New Year Painting including boys,door gods and window grilles as main research objects,and has created a series of decorative paintings named "Traces of Color",forming a new decorative painting style with the characteristics of the New Year festival.Based on the aesthetic perspective of modern people and the research of the predecessor,this paper roundly shows the cultural implication and the unique artistic beauty of Wuqiang New Year Painting.
