A Text Study Of The Bargu Epic Bayan Bolod Old Man

Heroic epic is a types of folk literature.The Bargu epic Bayan Bolod Old Man is an important part of the heroic epic.This epic has been widely spread in Old Bargu Banner,New Bargu Banner,Erdos,Khalkha and other areas of Inner Mongolia,and has produced many different texts.The plots of different stories are basically similar,and contain bargu folk customs,religious beliefs,cultural awareness and social background.This paper takes the different texts of the widely circulated old man Bayan Bolod as the research object,and comprehensively and systematically combs and analyzes the origin,text similarities and differences,and narrative characteristics of bargu epic by using the methods of cultural anthropology,philology,narratology,literature analysis and motif analysis.This paper consists of four parts: introduction,text,conclusion and appendix.The introduction mainly introduces the reason of the topic selection,the purpose and significance of the research,the general situation of the research,the sources of data and the research methods,etc.The first part,on the basis of the rich data of different texts of bargu epic the Bayan Bolod Old Man,discusses the origin of bargu epic by using cultural anthropology and Philology,and expounds the plot of bargu epic the Bayan Bolode Old Man from the perspective of narratology.The second part makes a comparative study of the texts of bargu epic the Bayan Bolod Old Man.This paper makes a comparative study on the names,characters,contents and plots of different texts,and analyzes the changes or differences of the epic motif.It explores the change and development law of the epic story.The third part analyzes the narrative structure of bargu’s epic the Bayan Bolod Old Man.The structural layout is explored,and its structural characteristics of integrity,openness and continuity are analyzed and summarized.It expounds the narrative method and cultural connotation of epic.The conclusion part,summarizes the full text,puts forward personal views and concludes the full text.
