A Translation Report On The Instruction Of Arduino Electronic Components Series

Arduino is an open source electronic prototype platform that is flexible and convenient.It mainly includes two major categories,that is Arduino board and Arduino IDE.The whole series were created by a Europe research and development team.Owing to the high quality performance and user-friendly features,it’s required by Run Da Automobile Trading Co.LTD which is in the course of strategy adjusting and new business development stage.However,due to the lack of the equivalent Chinese version of the original text,the translation is required in order to help staff to select,purchase and operate the products.Thus,the translation itself is of great importance to Run Da’s new lines of business.The translation report is based on an English to Chinese translation task which is required by Run Da Automobile Trading Co.LTD.The source text is the instruction of Arduino electronic components series coming from six passages,the main content of which is the introduction and precaution of Arduino electronic components series.The translation report can be divided into four parts.The first chapter is “the introduction to the translation project” which explains the background and significance of the project.The second chapter is “the process of translation” which describes the preparation,the processing and the editing activities of the translator.The third chapter “case analysis” is the main body of the report,and it includes two major parts in total,that is,the translation of vocabulary and sentences.In the discussion of vocabulary translation,acronyms and modal verbs are discussed in detail.In the analysis of sentence translation,passive sentences and imperative sentences are analyzed with many examples.The fourth chapter is “conclusion”which includes the translator’s introspection on the deficiency and gaining in the translation process,as well as the possible ways to improve it.
