Expression And Application Of Chinese Folk Art Elements In Comic Strips

Comic strips show multiple paintings in creation and organize them into a complete story.Compared with other kinds of paintings,it is easier to show the story,better convey the author’s inner feelings,and easier to make the viewer have emotional resonance.Comic strip is an inclusive art.It can be created with a variety of painting types.Traditional Chinese painting,printmaking,oil painting,sketch and watercolor can all complete the creation of a set of comic strips.In the creation of comic strips,it is inseparable from the elements of folk art,which is reflected on the stone reliefs of the Han Dynasty.The integration of the two can better reflect the unique artistic charm of the combination of folk art elements and comic books,and absorb the color characteristics of New Year pictures,the language form of portrait stones,the childish modeling characteristics of folk art and the characteristics of other folk art elements.It not only enriches the expression of comic books,but also has the charm of folk art.This paper mainly studies the commonality of Chinese folk art and comic strip,which mainly includes the commonality of origin,culture and artistic language,and then analyzes and studies the expression and application of folk art elements in comic strip from the aspects of language form,modeling characteristics and color characteristics in combination with more representative works,Finally,it summarizes the unique artistic charm of the combination of folk art elements and comic books.It also provides a variety of forms for the creation of comic books.
