In today’s world,with the rapid development of science and technology,network technology has been rapidly popularized.As a sculpture category emerging with the new era,Chinese contemporary hand-made sculpture has been slowly exploring in the process of localization in China,and gradually formed a road of hand-made sculpture with Chinese characteristics.On this basis,how to use my country’s excellent sculpture art achievements,It is the top priority to skillfully apply the artistic essence of traditional sculpture to the creation of contemporary handmade sculptures.Art works are the material carriers of the aesthetics of the times,ideal crystallization and spiritual products.The Tang Dynasty is the heyday of Chinese society and an era of extreme tolerance,openness and vitality in history.The sculpture art achievements of the Tang Dynasty are unparalleled and have a unique position in the field of ancient Chinese sculpture.The sculpture art of this period is magnificent and gorgeous.Compared with the Wei and Jin Dynasties,the plump is more refined and more vivid,and it is more elegant and atmospheric than the Song and Yuan Dynasties.Shape and demeanor,decoration and color,all are full of strong vitality.Through the analysis of the Tang Dynasty’s remaining sculpture works,this paper boldly analyzes the aesthetic characteristics and aesthetic laws of the Tang Dynasty’s sculpture,and makes us realize the precious value of the Tang Dynasty’s sculpture.As a student majoring in traditional sculpture and also a hand-made prototype,analyzing the artistic characteristics and aesthetic value of traditional sculpture helps to pay more attention to the artistry of the work in the process of creating hand-made sculptures,which is the inheritance and development of traditional culture.It is the urgent need of the present era and the main purpose of this thesis.
