Under the influence of western missionaries and emperors,palace figure painting in the qing dynasty developed vigorously,especially in the periods of kangxi,yongzheng and qianlong.Based on the analysis of the development of the background of The Times and the political and cultural orientation of the imperial rule,this paper explores the reasons for the formation of the aesthetic characteristics of palace figure painting in the qing dynasty,and analyzes the aesthetic characteristics of palace figure painting in the qing dynasty in detail,as well as the reflection on the "integration of Chinese and western" painting expression in the qing dynasty and the influence on the creation of modern painting.This paper analyzes the thoughts and expression methods of the representative court painters and court figure paintings,summarizes the main aesthetic characteristics of court figure paintings in the qing dynasty,and finally reflects on the historical value and influence of the integration of Chinese and western figure paintings in the qing dynasty.As the qing dynasty was in the last historical stage of the development of Chinese traditional painting,its special historical background led to its unique aesthetic mode,that is,the Chinese traditional painting concept was integrated with the aesthetic standards of western art,which was a period of aesthetic process starting to move towards the flavor of modern painting.
