As the founder of the "Splashing Ink Freehand Painting School" in the history of Chinese art,Xu Wei greatly enriched the expression of Chinese painting and formed a unique artistic style.He was a very influential artist in the Ming Dynasty.He absorbed the essence of his predecessors,constantly updated his techniques,and with his unique talents,he made bold changes,created a new style of his own,and created a generation of painting styles.In the in-depth study of Xu Wei’s artistic style,it is found that his unique distortion psychology plays an important role in Xu Wei’s creative state,artistic mentality and painting style.Therefore,the research on Xu Wei’s distortion psychology has considerable practical discussion value.This article is divided into four parts.The first chapter always writes the background of the topic selection and defines the starting point of the research.The second chapter starts from the specific concept of "distortion",through the semantic traceability,combined with Xu Wei’s self-narrative in his poems and his review literature,to research the specific connotation of Xu Wei’s "distortion".The third chapter demonstrates the formation of aberration psychology from two aspects of the zeitgeist and Xu Wei’s special life experience.The author focuses on discussing the specific works in the life experience part,dividing Xu Wei’s art into three stages: before he was imprisoned,in prison,and after he was released from prison.The presentation and development process of personal artistic style under distortion psychology.The fourth chapter discusses how to absorb the essence of Xu Wei’s artistic style in the creative practice,and consider how to adjust one’s own emotional and psychological state so that the art works can be presented perfectly.
