Chinese Traditional Figure Theme Illustration Research ——Take Nymph Of The Luo River As An Example

The rapid pace of life in the network era has led to the rapid development of illustration design,and the manifestation of illustration has become more diversified,which has been widely used in various fields such as commercial advertising,science and technology culture,and new media.From the hot topics of illustration in recent years,the topic content span is great,with many traditional fairy tales commonly occurring.The theme of this paper is drawn from On the Goddess of Luo River written by Cao Zhi,one of the representative figures of the three countries.The content of On the Goddess of Luo River is expressed in the form of illustration language.In the current era of reading pictures,it is also a form that is accepted by people.This paper will explore from the following aspects.The first part is the analysis and development of Chinese traditional figure-themed illustrations,exploring the development process,style performance and aesthetic characteristics of Chinese traditional figure-themed illustrations,combing the excellent illustrations in various periods,and conducting a more comprehensive collection.The second part is from shallow to deep on Nymph of the Luo River comprehensive and thorough research and analysis,detailed analysis of the artistic characteristics of Nymph of the Luo River and concise summary of its impact on contemporary illustration.Finally,the theory contacts with reality,using On the Goddess of Luo River illustration design practice as an example,to create a new style,with local characteristics of contemporary illustration.This paper comprehensively uses the literature research method,comparative research method,inductive summary method and practical research method to carefully sort out and study the illustrations of traditional Chinese characters,and involves the problems existing in the development of contemporary traditional character illustration design.The illustration design of On the Goddess of Luo River recreates under the guidance of traditional painting aesthetic theory.Therefore,this paper combines the thematic illustration of On the Goddess of Luo River with theoretical induction and practical creation,and at the same time takes into account the aesthetic needs of the public to explore a new form of combination of traditional culture and different illustration art performance.Based on the above background,combined with a variety of illustration forms,with new ideas for illustration design of On the Goddess of Luo River,this is also the innovation of this paper.In illustration practice,combined with professional advantages,starting from the artistic language of design aesthetics,new illustration forms are constantly tried and difficulties are analyzed and summarized.Different composition and color are integrated into their own understanding of the picture,and innovative adjustment is carried out.The final illustration design adopts a bright new form to show the story content,letting the Chinese classical cultural theme illustration keep up with the pace of development of the times.
