A Comparative Study On The Traditional Folk Song "Liuyang River" And The Adapted Folk Song "Singing Liuyang River Again"

Chinese folk songs have a long history and rich and diverse contents.Looking back at the changing course of Chinese traditional folk songs,it is not difficult to find that the changes in music creation reflect the development of popular culture.With the continuous progress and development of society,people’s aesthetic needs and the progress of media means promote the development of Chinese folk songs.Haozi,minor tunes and folk songs can no longer meet the aesthetic needs of the current era.Therefore,some musicians have adapted and created traditional Chinese folk songs,and a large number of adapted folk songs have been published,which are increasingly popular among young people.Adapted from the traditional folk song Liuyang River,Singing Liuyang River is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.On the basis of grasping the tradition,Singing Liuyang River follows the trend,infuses the original work with new elements of The Times,and gets a new look of another life.Nowadays,folk song adaptation is surging,which plays an important role in the creation,inheritance and development of Chinese folk songs.This paper will take traditional folk song Liuyang River and adapted folk song Singing Liuyang River as examples for comparative analysis,from the background of creation,melody characteristics,changes in thought and emotion and singing skills of different four points to compare,and in-depth analysis of The Times value of adapted folk song.
