| The translation practice report is based on Uncertain Education,an academic book by Professor Mark William Johnson of the University of Liverpool,UK.The author uses cybernetics to analyze the uncertainty of education.It clarifies the current and the future states of education and provides education scholars with new research perspectives.The book is rigorous and highly professional,containing many long sentences with complex grammatical structures.The translator needs to break away from the shackles of the grammatical structure and make appropriate adjustments to achieve accuracy,fluency and coherence in translations.Therefore,based on communicative translation theory,the author takes English long sentences as the research object and uses six translation methods proposed by Liu Miqing to make the translation conform to Chinese expression habits and achieve the purpose of effective communication.Through this translation practice,the author has a deeper understanding of the difficult points of informative texts and learns to flexibly use methods and strategies in the process of translation.The author expects that this report will help readers understand the progress of education and cybernetics research and provide education scholars with a new research perspective. |
