A Multi-angle Study On The Construction "Gai XP De Bu XP"

Based on a large amount of corpus analysis,this study investigates the structural function,semantic relationship and pragmatic value of the construction of " Gai XP De Bu XP " from the perspective of construction.This paper is divided into five chapters.Chapter one is the introduction,it mainly states the reasons for the topic selection,sorts out the grammatical theories of constructions and the research survey of constructions similar to " Gai XP De Bu XP ",defines the research object of this paper,and explains the research method and corpus source of this paper.The second chapter describes and analyzes the structure and function of the construction " Gai XP De Bu XP ".First of all,using the definition of construction theory to the expression " Gai XP De Bu XP " construction identification,construction of each component and the constant box " Gai ……De Bu ……" This paper investigates and analyzes the constraints on the selection of variables by constructions combined with construction suppression theory.Secondly,in terms of syntactic function,it is pointed out that the construction " Gai XP De Bu XP " can be used as a single sentence,a clause in a complex sentence,or as a syntactic component in a sentence.Finally,the paper analyzes the three situations of using this construction and the possible entry position.The third chapter analyzes the semantic features of the construction " Gai XP De Bu XP ".This chapter is divided into three parts.The first part analyzes the semantic characteristics of each component of this construction and the constant term box "Gai ……De Bu ……" The overall semantics of;The second part points out the construction meaning of this construction.The third part analyzes the semantic features of this construction when it is used alone or in combination.Chapter four discusses the pragmatic functions of the construction " Gai XP De Bu XP".Firstly,combining with the theory of subjectivity,it is pointed out that this construction has the strong subjective will of the speaker and has the function of subjective expression.Secondly,it points out that this construction has the antiexpectation function,which is opposite to the expectation of the speaker and the expectation shared by the specific speech society.Then,in the construction " Gai XP De Bu XP ",the latter "XP" is the focus of comparison,is the part that the speaker most wants to emphasize,with the focus highlighting function.Combining with discourse cohesion theory,this construction is analyzed to have the function of discourse cohesion.Finally,the pragmatic effect of this construction in continuous use is pointed out.Chapter five is the conclusion of this paper,summarize the viewpoints of this paper and point out the shortcomings.
