After nearly 40 years of development,the major of teaching Chinese as a foreign language has established three talent training systems: bachelor,master and doctorate degrees.Under “the Belt and Road” Initiative,countries along the route connected with China closely in various fields such as politics,economy,culture,science and technology,The demand for China’s high-speed rail,transportation engineering and other technologies is growing between countries along the route,bringing new opportunities to the international development of vocational education in China.More and more international students turned their attention to China’s higher vocational colleges.Vocational education is an important part of higher education in China,and it is also one of the important platforms for the development of "Chinese + vocational skills" in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This research takes Jiangsu Higher Vocational Colleges as the focus,investigates the development status and existing problems of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Jiangsu higher vocational colleges,makes a comparative analysis with the flagship project of American Chinese,and puts forward suggestions for improvement.The introduction part of this research clarifies the reason for choosing the topic,the purpose and significance of the research from the two aspects of "policy orientation" and "realistic appeal",summarizes the existing research results,and introduces the research methods and research ideas of this research.The first part introduces the two core concepts of "Vocational Education" and "Jiangsu Higher Vocational Colleges" in this study,as well as the theoretical basis of this study.The second and third parts are the core chapters of the thesis.The second part studies the current situation of the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Jiangsu Higher Vocational Colleges by means of questionnaires and interviews,and makes case studies of four higher vocational colleges,including Wuxi Vocational and technical college,Nanjing vocational college of science and technology,Changzhou Textile and clothing vocational and technical college,and Jiangsu health vocational college,The third part introduces the American Chinese flag-ship project.Based on the development characteristics of "Chinese + vocational skills" of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Jiangsu higher vocational colleges,this research compares and analyzes the similarities and differences between the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Jiangsu Higher Vocational Colleges and the American Chinese flagship project,summarizes the successful experience of the American Chinese flagship project,obtains enlightenment from it,and explores the feasibility of developing Chinese International Education in Jiangsu higher vocational colleges.On the basis of the previous survey,the fourth part analyzes the problems existing in the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Jiangsu higher vocational colleges,such as the lack of professional characteristics of enrollment majors,the lack of compound teachers,the lack of training experience of foreign students,the unreasonable curriculum system,and the lack of special-purpose Chinese courses and textbooks in Chinese teaching.In view of the existing problems,the fifth part mainly puts forward the development and countermeasures on teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Jiangsu Higher Vocational Colleges from the aspects of enrollment specialty setting,teacher team construction,teaching content,curriculum system,supporting teaching materials and so on.The innovation of this research is to combine teaching Chinese as a foreign language with vocational education,explore the promotion strategies of developing international Chinese education in Jiangsu higher vocational colleges,provide reference for the development of international Chinese education in higher vocational colleges,promote the internationalization of vocational education,and promote the further development of international Chinese education. |
