This article takes the language expression of ruin aesthetics in painting as the theme,and explores the unique charm of ruins as an artistic language.From a material point of view,ruins are useless and discarded objects.From an aesthetic point of view,ruins symbolize the passage of life,the dialogue with history,and the fantasy of the future.The value of ruin aesthetics depends on the artist’s personal historical memory and spiritual interior.This article opens the door to the world of ruins by studying the works of Anselm Kiefer,and explores the inner meaning of Kiefer’s paintings of ruins from the perspective of spiritual connotation and material symbolism.Intuitively now,urban industrial ruins have replaced war and become the object of contemporary people’s reflection.Take some works of Wang Jiazeng as examples,and several works by Chinese ruin artists as supplementary examples to interpret the meaning contained in industrial ruins art expression.This article does not study the aesthetics of ruins in the historical timeline,but interprets it in different aesthetic dimensions and background spaces. |
