Art Over Ruins

German Neo-Expressionist is an important genre of painting style emerging in the west in the 20^thh century.It takes Germany's Expressionist in the early 20^th century as a model and makes some breakthroughs in painting form content and concept.The German Neo-Expressionist painters represented by Anselm Kiefer uses lines?colors and shapes to express emotions and feelings.They consciously linked their artistic creation with the German concept.Anselm Kiefer use comprehensive material for painting creation,works content mostly depict the ruins of the devastating scene,he integrates German history?culture?religion?mythology and so on into his paintings.In this article,through reading the Chinese and foreign art theory books and visit Kiefer's works exhibition,I focusing on the ruins of art to study the style and characteristics of Kiefer's Art.The first chapter of this paper specifically analyzes the influence of the expressive quality of comprehensive materials in Kiefer's painting style in Kiefer's works.The second chapter specifically analyzed the concept of ruins scenery in Kiefer's works and explored the painting style of Kiefer.The last chapter explored the influence of Kiefer's painting style on domestic art.The study of Kiefer's painting style has deepened my understanding of materials and texture.Kiefer's painting style provides more reference for the expression of comprehensive materials and the development of concepts.
