It is important for junior high school students to learn to write.However,teachers often pay too much attention to the use of vocabulary,phrases and sentence patterns relevant to the writing themes and ignore students’ abilities of conception,polishing articles as well as how to write articles in an authentic way,which leads to an unsatisfactory teaching effect.According to the existing problems in English writing teaching in junior high school,the paper applies Pigai.org.to English writing teaching,aiming to explore its effects.According to Pigai.org.and extensive reading of relevant literatures,combining unit writing topics of PEP textbook,taking junior two English students of two classes in XX School in Changde,Hunan as the research objects,the thesis adopts the methods of interview and Quasi-experimental research to solve two questions.One is how teachers apply Pigai.org.to writing teaching design based on PEP textbook,and the other is what impact does the writing teaching experiment based on Pigai.org.have on the students’ writing? Firstly,the thesis introduces the initiative principles,amendment principles and cooperative principles.Then taking unit writing topics from the pre-writing,while-writing and post-writing stages,combining the initiative principles,amendment principles and cooperative principles,the online and offline English writing teaching design based on Pigai.org.is formed.After that,taking unit writing topics of Grade 8 unit 3 as teaching content,the online and offline English writing teaching experiment in combination of Pigai.org.and relevant principles from the pre-writing,while-writing and post-writing stages is carried out.Finally,the data of interview and the writing scores before and after the experiment is analyzed.Research shows that teachers should combine unit writing topics to promote students’ autonomous learning,self-revision and peer review when designing junior high school English writing teaching based on Pigai.org..As for the effect of writing teaching,English writing teaching in Junior high school based on Pigai.org.,on the one hand,helps students conceive in the pre-writing stage,revise in the while-writing stage and evaluate in the post-writing stage.On the other hand,the correctness of the vocabulary and sentence patterns in students’ writing continues to increase.What’s more,with the development of students’ thinking abilities,the rationality of the passage in students’ writing enhances constantly,but the diversity of sentence patterns needs to be further improved.
