Dragon dance is one of the traditional folk sports in China,which has been widely carried out in universities.Core stability training can improve the trunk stability and body stability of martial arts and other studies on the movements and techniques of dragon dance show that dragon dance has high requirements on body posture control,balance ability,leg support,and waist and abdomen strength.At present,there are few studies on dragon dance movements,and there are no related studies on the core stability of dragon dance movements.Therefore,this paper takes different training programs(core stability training and traditional trunk training)as the independent variable,and takes the completion quality of dragon dance movement as the dependent variable,to explore the core stability training for dragon dance in ordinary universities The influence of the completion quality of the athlete’s dragon dance movement.By applying the experimental method as the main method,the quality of the dragon dance movements is studied.Results:(1)Before the experiment,the core stability and physical quality were different between the experimental and control groups.(2)After the experiment,there were significant differences between the sit-up test and the control group(p <0.01);There were some differences between experimental group and control group on the trunk extensor endurance test,trunk flexion and extension range test and single leg jump test(p<0.05).There was no difference between the experimental group and control group on the physical fitness test.(p<0.05)There were differences between the experimental group and the control group in seven basic movements,such as lumpy undulation(p<0.05).There were significant differences in five basic movements like forward and backward jumping(p<0.01).There were differences between the experimental group and control group in three hard movements like continuous crossing and marching,and had significant differences in two difficult movements of the continuous dragon jump and the dragon tail(p<0.01)(3)Before and after experiment,the experimental group had striking differences in five core stability tests(p <0.01)and the five physical fitness tests(p <0.01);the control group had differences in sit-up,trunk extensor endurance test,dominant single leg standing test(p <0.05)and trunk flexion and extension There was no difference in the range of motion tests(p> 0.05)and a significant difference in the five physical fitness tests(p <0.01).Conclusion:(1)After the experiment,the core stability training is better than the traditional core stability in all aspects of the torso training,especially the core strength,core balance,core endurance and core function;(2)Core stability training improves the completion quality of dragon dance movements better than the traditional trunk training;(3)Before and after the experiment,the core stability and physical quality of the experimental group were significantly improved;the physical quality of the control group was significantly improved,the core strength,core endurance,core balance and core function of the core stability were somewhat improved,and the core flexibility quality decreased.
