The Creative And Cooperative Study Between Stage Designer And Director

At the present times,the form of performance presents the divergence,such as theatrics of theater,live-action performances,theme park,immersive theatre and so on.Different kinds of performances are beneficial to satisfy audiences’ demand.No matter what the form of performance is,it must have the content production team.As the essential department,stage designer and director need to be responsible for creation.The relationship between them which can influence the quality of performance is very important.Actually,history abounds with the leader of the drama play,which is because of the success of Julius Caesar by the duke of Saxe-Meiningen in Germany.In order to adapt to the development of the times,it is advisable for us to reflect on the cooperative relationship between stage designer and director,which is based on the traditional creation pattern of director’s guidance.In the past,the conception of stage design submit to director,and traditional design conception dominate.This design conception have significant limitations.It will not only hinder the diversified development of the drama art,but also cause the functional waste of stage design in the time dimension.In fact,many great stage designers have realized that stage art needs to intervene in the director’s thinking.The concept of stage art design needs to inject new vitality,new creative methods and new aesthetic characteristics.The domestic professional research and co-construction research on this topic is still in its infancy.Accelerating the research will help us to provide a theoretical reference for relevant research.It helps to adapt to the new form of drama,promote the diversified development of performance forms,enrich the diversity of aesthetic characteristics of drama art,meet the diversified needs of the audience,help to complete high-quality performance,and promote the development of contemporary cultural tourism projects,large-scale activities and other fields.This paper mainly adopts the methods of investigation,literature research and case study.In the research process,the author watched a large number of excellent classic drama performance videos at home and abroad,explored the production process behind them,looked for the basis of mutual support with the research object of this paper from these successful cases,and supplemented and improved the research content of this paper.By collecting a large number of materials about the actual situation or historical situation of the research object,the author understands the history and current situation of the research object in this paper,and helps the research object provide theoretical support.
