On The Creation Of Stage Image By The Directors

During the course of rehearsing a drama, every director should creat a completely unified stage image through the co-operation of each recreation department, based on the script and character image, centered on the performances and artistic conception of its director, and intending to show vivid, unique, distinctive artistic styles. This paper mainly involves three parts, including the transition from script to performance, the establishment and grasp of overall stage image, the methods and approaches of image creation, centering on how to convey the art idea of a director by actors’ stage peformance. With the integration of the author’s creative practice, the creation of stage image by the directors will be explored.
