Reading skills are one of the most important language skills for language learners.The practice in reading textbooks is the "first step" in training reading skills.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the compilation of practice settings in reading textbooks.This paper selects a set of representative reading textbooks-"Intermediate Chinese Reading Course",combines the principles of textbook compilation and the relevant theories of reading skills and reading micro-skills,adopts the method of data statistics,and analyzes the effect of the practice settings of this textbook on reading skills and reading skills.Based on the matching situation of micro-skill training,summarize and reflect on the advantages and disadvantages of the practice setting of the textbook,and put forward suggestions for the use and compilation of reading textbooks.From the perspective of reading skills,the advantage of "Intermediate Chinese Reading Course" is that the textbook divides the training items of reading skills very carefully.Each reading skill practice question covers multiple learning objectives,forming a scientific and effective reading training mode.However,the layout and arrangement of reading skills texts and practice questions are not balanced enough,the distribution of practice content in textbooks is not balanced in class hours,and the problem expressions of practice questions are not clear enough.From the perspective of reading micro-skills,the advantage of "Intermediate Chinese Reading Course" is that the textbook scientifically and reasonably arranges the content of reading micro-skills exercises according to different language levels of characters,words,sentences and discourses.Textbook exercises are scientific and systematic.Among them,word-guessing skill exercises and discourse comprehension skill exercises account for a large proportion,word-guessing exercises account for about 42%,and discourse exercises account for about 40%.However,there is a big difference between the total number of skills training questions and reading training questions in the textbook,the distribution of the main questions and non-main practice questions in the textbook is not balanced,and the frequency of use of the question types is low.According to the above situation,the corresponding suggestions are put forward: teachers should choose the practice content appropriately when using the teaching material,and focus on the training of reading skills;integrate and sort out the practice content of the teaching material,and guide students to build a knowledge system of reading skills;Sentence comprehension skills,text reading training.When compiling the textbook,the knowledge points of the textbook should be closely combined with the practice questions of the textbook;the expression of the problem should be scientific and rigorous;the main question type and the non-main question type of the reading textbook should cooperate with each other,and the frequency of using the non-main question type should be increased.The distribution should also be balanced. |
