Nowadays,with the increasing number of Chinese learners in the world and the authoritative enhancement of Chinese Proficiency Test Hanban introduced the new HSK test which takes advantages of both the old HSK Test and the latest achievements of language testing study in 2009.The new HSK test pays more attention to the vocabulary test and requires higher capability of using Chinese knowledge.With the needs of the vast number of the vocabulary,the difficulty in reading part and the time limitation,the upgrading of the test requires candidates to complete the test in a short time efficiently.Therefore,except enough vocabulary and Chinese knowledge,the student also need to guess the meaning of the words according to the context reasoning discourse logic according to related words and even the author's intention such sort of related reading micro skill.Based on the above information as well as the perspective of discourse lexical theory,this paper mainly discusses the relationship between the theory of lexical cohesion and the related reading micro-skills and Improvement of Chinese Learners' Test Results,with the studying sample of real new HSK4 exercise.Through the analysis of the Chinese learners' test of relevant Chinese level,the choose the words and fill in the blank,sort of title,complex sentence reading these three different types of questions to help second language learners Skilled use relevant micro reading skills to solve the problem more effectively on the basis of the lexical cohesion.In addition,we also found that using related micro reading skill of lexical cohesion theory is very helpful for Cultivating Chinese learners' reading ability especially training students to guess the meaning of words according to the context,seize the keywords,using related words to catch the main part of the sentence,skipping barriers in reading,improving reading efficiency and upgrading the scores.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part introduces the background and significance of this study;the second part is literature review,Sorting the research about the situation of textual cohesion theory and lexical cohesion theory;the third part is theoretical basis,Focus on the theory relationship between reading micro skills and lexical cohesion theory;the fourth part is the reading micro skills and problem solving skills research,which based on analysis of lexical cohesion theory and the new HSK4 reading test data;the fifth part is the summary,with HSK reading micro skills teaching suggestions,how to combine these lexical cohesion theory with reading micro skills with teaching practice and Chinese Proficiency Test to help Chinese as a second language leaner grasp the logic and key information,quickly and accurately extract important information of the text to improve reading ability and test scores still need us to study more deeply.
