An idiom is a fixed phrase that has rich meaning and written language.It has the characteristics of overall meaning,fixed structure,elegant style,and certain cultural connotations.It is the key and difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The research on idiom teaching is quite fruitful.The previous research mostly focused on idiom ontology research,idiom error analysis,idiom teaching material setting and idiom dictionary compilation,etc.,but there are relatively few researches on specific methods.It is necessary to continue research on this topic,and there is still value and space for discussion on this topic.With the improvement of China’s international status,more and more people begin to learn Chinese,and the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has also developed rapidly.As an important part of Chinese vocabulary,idioms have certain complexities in their structural forms and cultural connotations.This also determines that idiom teaching has become the focus and difficulty of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.If students can use idioms correctly,they can effectively improve their Chinese expression ability and Chinese proficiency.This paper takes "Developing Chinese(Comprehensive)" as the object of investigation and studies from the aspects of the number of idioms,source classification,interpretation mode,exercise type and number.This paper conducts a detailed investigation of the number and distribution of idioms in the textbook,and compares and analyzes the idioms in the textbook with the idioms in various grade syllabuses that have been generally recognized,and then examines the presentation of the idioms in the textbook in relevant corpora.,in order to more comprehensively analyze the advantages and disadvantages of teaching materials in idiom collection.In addition to examining the collection of idioms in textbooks,the arrangement of idioms is also the focus of this study.The author investigates and researches idioms in textbooks from three aspects: idiom recurrence,interpretation and practice,and analyzes the idioms in textbooks.lose.Foreign learners and Chinese teachers are the users of this set of textbooks.The author designed two sets of questionnaires for them respectively.Based on the survey results,I conducted a more practical discussion on the selection of idioms in the textbook and their teaching situation.The ultimate purpose of studying the textbook is to effectively use the textbook for classroom teaching.Based on the above analysis,the author puts forward specific suggestions for the selection of idioms in the textbook,and also provides corresponding teaching for comprehensive teachers to better teach the idioms in the textbook.Strategy.It is hoped that the research in this paper can provide useful reference for the improvement of teaching materials and teachers and students who use this set of teaching materials.
