| Production-oriented approach is based on China’s learning situation,and its significance lies in the fact that it is “output” oriented and can give full play to the role of “output” through students’ “output” to drive “input” and veritably realize the efficient“learning-centered” English teaching.Since more than a decade of its proposal,Its usefulness has been increasingly appreciated.English reading competence is fundamental to the development of listening,speaking and writing skills and plays an essential part in enhancing learning capability and comprehension.Therefore,on the basis of English reading teaching in middle school,this research aims to examine the validity of the application of the Production-oriented English reading teaching model.Therefore,this study examines the effectiveness of the application of a production-oriented English reading teaching model on the basis of English reading teaching in middle school.44 students in the fourth grade of a junior high school in Harbin are selected as the research objects.And this research uses experimental methods,classroom observation,questionnaires and interviews to explore the following questions: Firstly,How can the Production-oriented Approach be enforced in the teaching of English reading in junior high schools? Second,can the production-oriented approach be adapted to raise students’ English reading interests in junior secondary school English reading instruction? Third,can the production-oriented approach be adapted to raise students’ English reading achievement in junior secondary school English reading instruction?After implementing the output-oriented English reading teaching experiment for four months and analyzing the results of this teaching experiment in conjunction with the findings of this study,the following findings were obtained in this study.First,summarize the implementation process of output-oriented junior high school English reading teaching.Secondly,the Production-oriented English reading teaching mode has a remarkable impact on the English reading learning capability of junior secondary school students.Thirdly,the output-oriented English reading teaching model has a favorable effect on promoting junior secondary students’ enthusiasm for learning English reading.To sum up,this research optimizes the effects of Production-oriented reading teaching mode on junior high school students’ English reading learning level and reading interest from different perspectives.This research has some theoretical and practical significance,and also provides some references for junior high school first-line English teachers to choose this teaching mode in the future.Nevertheless,there are three constraints to this research due to a couple of objective and subjective conditions:firstly,the number and scope of experimental participants are constrained;secondly,the experiment was conducted for a limited period of time;thirdly,the author lacks experience in English classroom teaching.In the following research,the author wished to further develop the output-oriented English reading teaching model. |
