In recent years,experts and scholars at home and abroad have begun to pay attention to the research and compilation of CFL dictionaries,so as to further improve the theoretical research of CFL dictionaries into an independent discipline with its own system characteristics.The CFL dictionary limits the dictionary users to non-native Chinese learners and CFL teachers,and takes the user’s ability to accurately understand and properly use the searched words,so as to communicate smoothly in language practice as the main purpose.At present,the domestic research on dictionary use cases mainly focuses on the source and type of use cases and the principles and methods of use case configuration.On the whole,the research on dictionary use cases has been more comprehensive,but the research on restricted part of speech use cases is still lacking.Based on the previous research results,the author summarizes the current situation of use case research in CFL dictionary,and emphasizes the importance of use case configuration in CFL dictionary compilation and user use again.This paper takes the use cases of monosyllabic speaking verbs in Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese(Elementary Level)as the research object to investigate the setting of their use cases.Based on the theory of use case compilation in the dictionary of learning Chinese as a foreign language,this paper first defines and classifies monosyllabic verbs,and then selects the real corpus of monosyllabic verbs in Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese(Elementary Level)from the perspective of native speakers with the help of BCC corpus,and summarizes and analyzes the semantic and syntactic expression of monosyllabic verbs,It provides a basis for the investigation of the real situation of the use cases of monosyllabic speaking verbs in the dictionary in the third chapter.The third chapter mainly makes an overall investigation from the form and content of use cases.The form includes:explain use case patterns,interpretation methods,number,type,length and structure of use cases;In terms of content,it mainly compares and analyzes the display of verb semantics,grammar and cultural information by use cases.Through detailed analysis and research,we find that the use cases set for monosyllabic speaking verbs in Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese(Elementary Level)show their uniqueness in both form and content.Therefore,in the last chapter,this paper summarizes and evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of the use case setting of Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese(Elementary Level),and provides specific suggestions for Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese(Elementary Level)and the compilation practice of learning dictionary for foreigners in the future.
