The Study Of The Personal Names In ZouMaLou Wu Bamboo And Wood Slips

In 1996,The Three Kingdoms Changsha Zou Ma Lou Wu Bamboo and Wood slips(Wu slips for short)unearthed in changsha hunan province,with a total of more than ten thousands,diversity in shape,rich in content,involving several aspects such as traffic,title,forenames,greatly filled the vacancy of The Three Kingdoms period unearthed literature which provided us great referencial value for studying the period of the social history.In addition,Wu slips have a large number of household registers,which contain a large number of names of lower officials and people,which is helpful for us to study the characteristics of names in The Three Kingdoms period and grasp the characteristics of the time.This paper was based on the Eighth volumes of Changsha Zou Ma Lou Wu Bamboo and Wood slips(The Eighth Wu slips for short)in the name.As for making a comprehensive and systematic research about the Eighth Wu slips,I applied the review form distinguishes the word,statistic analysis and summarizes the methods of induction,combined with exegesis,lexicology,name,folklore and other disciplines.This paper is mainly divided into four chapters as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter is divided into three parts,which are the overview of research materials and the summary and description of Wu slips.The reasons for choosing the topic and the research status are expounded,and the research status of Wu slips;names from Han dynasty to Wei and Jin dynasties are summarized.The research ideas,methods,significance and examples are also introduced.The second chapter is the study of surnames in the Eighth Wu slips.This chapter is divided into three parts: the first part explains the overview of surnames,the second part finds out the special surnames in the Eighth Wu slips,and the third part analyzes the characteristics of surnames.This paper first sorted out all the surnames involved in the Eighth Wu slips,and then found out the special surnames of Wu slips by combining the three dictionary dictionaries of Chinese dictionary,Chinese dictionary and Chinese surname dictionary.The third chapter is the research of forenames in Eighth Wu slips.This chapter is divided into four parts,the first part describes the general appearance of the forenames,the second part and the third part carry on the semantic analysis of the forenames respectively,from the forenames to personal,daily life,physical geography,politics,economy,military,and other seven aspects.Firstly,the contents of each type of name are summarized.Then,the names with high frequency are listed with examples and given specific explanations.The names with less frequency are attached to the same type of names.The fourth chapter is the general characteristics and research value of the names in Eighth Wu slips.This chapter is divided into two parts.The first part summarizes the general characteristics of the names in Eighth Wu slips,and the second part analyzes the research value of the names.This paper summarizes the characteristics of names from the aspects of the formation of names and their relationship with words,rhyme and semantics,and then discusses the application,culture and lexical value of names from three aspects.This paper discusses the characteristics of name in the Eighth Wu slips from the aspects of surnames and forenames,besides,it reveals the characteristics of the naming of the people with lower ladder,such as the Times,the life,the simplicity,the less pursuit of Confucianism and elegance,and the more attention to the practicality of the name.By comparing and summarizing the differences and connections between male and female names,it can be seen that Confucianism permeates People’s Daily life and has a strong naming tendency.This paper provides some help to promote the research process of Wu slips’ name and plays an important role in supplementing the historical and cultural materials of The Three Kingdoms and sunwu period.
