Research On The Development Of Cultural Tourism In Hengyang Gaoxin Village

In recent years,in line with the continuous social and economic progress and the people’s keen demand for cultural tourism,the Central Government has attached great importance to cultural tourism,issued a series of instructions to promote the development of cultural tourism and introduced a series of policies to promote the development of cultural tourism,such as the 13 th Five-Year Plan for Tourism prepared by the national tourism management department,which establishes the development objectives of China’s cultural tourism industry and encourages localities to make full use of local cultural tourism resources to develop related industries and meet the spiritual needs of the people.In the context of promoting the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation and the implementation of the rural revitalisation strategy,the protection and development of China’s traditional villages has become more urgent and important,yet the actual situation is the continuous extinction of China’s traditional villages,and the low level of development and management of many traditional villages has led to a series of problems.In the new context,it is necessary and urgent to explore the development and protection of traditional villages.The objectives of this article are to clarify the value of the cultural resources of Gaoxin Village,identify the problems of its cultural tourism development,and put forward suggestions for optimising its cultural tourism development.The article follows the logical line of problem formulation,problem analysis and problem solving.On the basis of the research results of previous research,this project fully understands the situation of cultural tourism development in Gaoxin Village through fieldwork,data collection,questionnaires and in-depth interviews,analyses the problems in the village’s tourism development and their causes using relevant theoretical methods,and then comes up with strategies to solve the problems according to relevant theories and the actual situation of the village.The analysis concluded that the village’s cultural tourism resources mainly include ancient architectural culture,folk culture,farming culture and food culture,among which the Jiangjia House ancient architectural complex is a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit in Hunan,with a high grade of resources,and the village is located in a rural area,which fits the general background of the national implementation of rural revitalisation.The village’s tourism development mainly suffers from the lack of attractiveness of tourism products,imperfect infrastructure and auxiliary facilities,low visibility,low awareness of independent development and insufficient protection awareness and measures;the lack of human resources,lack of funds for tourism development,insufficient marketing and promotion,insufficient benefits for stakeholders from the development and lack of linkage development with the surrounding scenic spots are the main reasons.The need for clear development goals and positioning,strengthen the protection of cultural resources,in-depth excavation of cultural resources to create high-quality products,innovative marketing methods,strengthen the effective configuration of the protection system,optimize the mechanism for the distribution of benefits,regional tourism linkage development and other aspects of the implementation of measures to promote high-quality,sustainable development of cultural tourism.
