Chen Chun Cursive Art Research

Chen Chun’s cursive art can break stereotypes and sway freely,which is closely related to his nature and experience.Everyone who writes cursively,the freedom of works and the freedom of personal spirit are highly unified.Furthermore,this is the freedom deepened by repeated cycles from the inside to the outside and then from the outside to the inside.Chen Chun has this kind of freedom in his artistic practice throughout his life.By studying his cursive calligraphy art through the past generations,technical forms,style characteristics and other aspects,we can sort out the reasons for the aesthetic direction of cursive calligraphy in the mid-Ming Dynasty,and can concretely demonstrate the height of Chen Chun’s cursive calligraphy art,the effect of later generations,and the status of calligraphy.This article will study Chen Chun’s cursive art from four chapters.The first chapter is the life study of Chen Chun,which mainly involves the various social backgrounds,overall environment,humanistic thoughts,and the main experiences of Chen Chun’s life;the second chapter describes an in-depth study of the evolution of Chen Chun’s cursive style,mainly involving the methods of the past generations.The cause and fate of Wu Men calligraphers’ aesthetic orientation on him;Chapter 3 is the study of the artistic style of Chen Chun’s cursive script,involving the concrete presentation of Chen Chun’s cursive brushwork,structure,and composition,showing the most exciting and unique parts;The four chapters are the combing of Chen Chun’s cursive art contribution and influence,involving the process of Chen Chun’s cursive art breaking the subtlety and moving towards freedom,using calligraphy as a painting and painting as a book,and interpreting the comments of famous artists in later generations.Throughout the book world in the mid-Ming Dynasty,a little calligraphers who can use the art form of Dacao to show their heart and emotions without scruple.Chen Chun is the pioneer and leader among them.In the early stage of his cursive script,he absorbed the strengths of various schools,boldly explored in the middle stage,and did whatever he wanted in the later stage,not vulgar,not feminine,one point and one painting,all of which are the flow and explosion of inner spirit,shocking people.As a result,Chen Chun pushed the emotional expressiveness of cursive script to a new height in history,stared a new path,and had a profound influence on later generations of cursive writers.
