A Comparative Study Of Lin Sanzhi And The Second Year Of Senior High School In Cursive Script

Both Mr.Lin Sanzhi and Mr.Gao Ershi are famous calligraphers in the history of modern and contemporary Chinese calligraphy,they are also the “sage of cursive script” among the “four Great masters of Jinling” in the field of calligraphy.There are many famous contemporary calligraphers in the different styles,however,Mr.Lin Sanzhi and Mr.Gao Ershi are the first to be regarded as the “sage of cursive script”.Mr.Lin Sanzhi is a great calligrapher of the past and the future,Japanese praised him as “contemporary cursive script sage”.And Mr.Gao Ershi often uses informal chapters,and there have many seals named “ I’ve been a master of calligraphy all my life”,in addition,there are many seals named “Zheng Cao Sheng Zhai”and “ Cao Sheng Wu Lu”,and they all did not avoid “ sage of cursive script ” these words.This paper is going to discuss from the perspective of Chinese calligraphy aesthetics,that is to compare the similarities and differences between Mr.Lin Sanzhi and Mr.Gao Ershi in the from the aspects of character,image,temperaments,inspiration,artistic conception,calligraphy style,pen structure,layout,ink rhyme,transformation and enlightenment,in order to demonstrate the cursive art of the two gentlemen and their influence on later generations.
