Research On The Design Culture Of Liling In The Republic Of China

Liling,located in the eastern part of Hunan Province,is strategically located in a superior geographical position,it controls the head of Wu and is situated at the end of Chu,also connecting the east of Hunan and south of Guangdong,gathering the spirit of heaven and earth,its rich natural resources and social resources provide a good foundation for the production of Liling design.The design of Liling faced a new generation of elimination and innovation due to the influence of social unrest and the introduction of Western advanced technology and thought and culture during the Republican period,and its design culture was also diversified due to the complex social background at that time.In addition,with the development of modern science and technology,many traditional designs rooted in the folk gradually withdraw from the lives of the public,and the design culture also changes with the development of society.This paper starts from the background of the emergence of Liling design in the Republic of China period,and outlines the analysis of the natural and social environment of Liling on the influence of Liling design in the Republic of China period.For the Republic of China period Liling production life utensils,residential buildings,wear clothing,ritual utensils,opera performance performance equipment,entertainment and athletic appliances and other categories of in-depth research,the Republic of China period Liling area design types have a preliminary grasp,and will be summarized as practical and material life as the theme and aesthetic and spiritual life as the theme of the two major design categories.On this basis combining with historical information,to make further analysis of the Republican period Liling design ideas and design education status.Through the exploration of the design culture of Liling in the Republican period in the previous chapters,the three main characteristics of its inheritance,intermingling and variability are summarized,and finally practical suggestions are made for contemporary design education and contemporary design communication,taking into account the lessons learned from the innovation process of design culture in Liling in the Republican period.
