On The Early Reception Of Tao Yuanming’s Poetry

The history of acceptance of Tao’s poems in ancient China can be divided into three periods: the early period is from the northern and Southern Dynasties to the Sui Dynasty,the Tang and Song Dynasties is the climax of acceptance of Tao’s poems,and the Ming and Qing Dynasties is the late period of acceptance of Tao’s Poems.From the Eastern Jin Dynasty to the southern and Northern Dynasties to the Sui Dynasty,the early acceptance of Tao Yuanming’s poems began,and the acceptance of Tao Yuanming’s poems at this stage mainly showed the characteristics of Tao Yuanming and his poems.Represented by Yan Yanzhi,Shen Yue and Xiao Tong,the acceptance of Tao Yuanming laid the foundation for the acceptance of Tao’s poetry.The edition of Tao’s collection and the selection of Tao’s poems increase the way of transmission of Tao’s poems.The main composition of Tao’s acceptance of poems is the imitation of Tao’s poems and the quotation of images.It is these that form the early acceptance of Tao Yuanming’s poems.Therefore,on the basis of previous notes and modern research,this paper tries to show the acceptance of Tao Yuanming’s poetry from the Eastern Jin Dynasty to the southern and Northern Dynasties to the Sui Dynasty through the text interpretation of Tao Yuanming’s poetry and acceptance groups,and find out the logical clues in the process of acceptance in different times.This paper is mainly divided into four chapters.The first chapter explores the background of Tao Yuanming’s early acceptance of poetry.This paper mainly explores the influence of political form and ideological and cultural changes on the acceptance of Tao’s poetry from the southern and Northern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty,and sorts out the background of acceptance.The second chapter explores the acceptance of Tao Yuanming by Elegy and biography before Tang Dynasty.Taking Yan Yanzhi’s Jingjie Zhengshi Lei,Shen Yue’s Song Shu · Tao Qian Zhuan,Xiao Tong’s Tao Yuanming Zhuan,Fang Xuanling’s Jin Shu · Tao Qian Zhuanwei and Li Yanshou’s Nan Shi · Yin Yi Zhuan as examples,this paper explores the biographical position of Tao Yuanming and his poems.The third chapter is the arrangement of Tao’s poems before Tang Dynasty.During this period,Xiao Tong and Xu Ling selected and recorded Tao’s poems,and at the same time,Xiao Tong and Yang Xiuzhi sorted out the versions of Tao’s poems to explore the literati’s attention to Tao’s poems at that time.It was this kind of attention that made it possible for Tao Yuanming’s Poems to spread from the Eastern Jin Dynasty to the southern and Northern Dynasties to the Sui Dynasty.The fourth chapter is the literary acceptance of Tao’s poems before Tang Dynasty.To explore the literary acceptance of Tao’s poems by scholars before the Tang Dynasty,it is mainly to excavate the meaning of Tao’s poems.Yu Xin,a poet from the south to the north,and scholars in the period of Chen and Sui,began to select the classic hermit images in Tao’s poems and give them practical significance.Secondly,the establishment of "Tao Peng Zeti",represented by Bao Zhao,Zhong Rong and Jiang Yan,established the theme and artistic characteristics of Tao Yuanming’s poetry in his poetry creation and literary theory.
