The Study On Poems Of "Jin An Two Xu" In Late Ming Dynasty

" Jin An Two Xu" refers to Xu Teng and Xu Bo two brothers,who lived in Fuzhou of Fujian Province.Two Xu were famous poets in the poetry circle of the late Ming Dynasty,and they were the backbone figures of Jin ’an poetry school in the late Ming Dynasty.They promoted the development of Fuzhou regional literature with their poetic theories and creations.In the late Ming Dynasty,when Gong’an and Jingling School were in vogue,Xu Teng and Xu Bo were not influenced by the trend.They tried to catch up with the ancients and made people refreshing with their fresh,elegant and implicit poetic style.This thesis is divided into three chapters to make a systematic study of " Jin An Two Xu" and their poems.The first chapter focuses on the life of " Jin An Two Xu".First of all,through the investigation of the family background of " Jin An Two Xu",this paper explores the influence of family tradition and family education on their choice of imperial examination and cultural accomplishment.Secondly,by combing Xu Teng and Xu Bo ’s life experience,personality and interest,and their friendship with the scholars of Minzhong poetry school and other provinces,this paper summarizes the internal and external factors influencing their poetry creation.The second chapter mainly discusses and studies Xu Teng and Xu Bo’s poetic ideas in combination with the literary trend of late Ming Dynasty and the background of Jin’an regional culture.As the representatives of Jin’an School of poetry,they share the same poetic ideas.They take the restoration of elegance as their poetic ideal,and take the poems of the Han,Wei and Six Dynasties and Tang Dynasty as their learning objects.However,there are also differences in their poetic ideas,mainly reflected in the methods of learning from ancient poetry and the evaluation of song and Yuan poetry.The third chapter mainly explores the similarities and differences of Xu Teng and Xu Bo ’s poetry from two aspects of thought content and artistic style.In terms of ideological content,their poems are mainly about kinship and friendship,sighs on landscape travel and concerns about people’s livelihood and national affairs.However,in terms of the ideological content of the poems,they show some differences due to their different life circumstances and personalities.In his poems,Xu Teng expressed his suffering of not being able to meet his talent,while Xu Bo showed a strong sense of seclusion.In terms of poetic style,both Xu Teng and Xu Bo ’s poems have the common characteristics of combining various styles in form,striving to follow the ancient principles,and coexisting with fresh and graceful poetic style and stern and vigorous.At the same time,there are similarities and differences in the artistic style of Xu Teng and Xu Bo ’s poems.In form,Xu Teng pays more attention to the five rhythms,while Xu Bo likes the seven rhythms.Xu Teng ’s poems are more emotional,and Xu Bo ’s poems are more elegant.They are similar in style and have their own strong points.Finally,the paper summarizes the status and significance of " Jin An Two Xu" poetry from the perspective of regional literature and literary history,and gives a more objective and fair evaluation of their poetry creation achievements and limitations.
