A Research On Xue Shiyu’s Poetry And Prose

At the end of Qing Dynasty,Xue Shiyu,who inherited the tradition of "farming and reading" in xues of Quanjiao in Anhui,not only played a role in the political and educational circles,but also made many achievements in the creation of poetry and prose." At present,the academic research on Xue Shiyu mainly focuses on academy education and Teng xiang Mansion Ci.The research on Xue Shiyu’s thoughts,family,poetry and eight-part essay is still weak.This article try to make a systematic study of Xue Shiyu and his works based on the text,his life experience and the background of the late Qing Dynasty,and the literary value contained in it.The introduction of this paper is the source,purpose of the subject and the related achievements of Xue Shiyu’s research in the academic circle.Chapter one includes Xue Shiyu’s family,life and travel research.Section one combs the origin and development of the Xue family,and on this basis explores the internal driving force of the rise of the Xue family and the ideological characteristics of the imperial examination family,so as to further investigate the influence of the family on Xue Shiyu;the second section clarifies Xue Shiyu’s life experience according to various materials and narrates it by stages;the third section studies the circle of Xue Shiyu’friends,and summarizes and expounds according to his whereabouts.The second chapter is the study of Teng Xiang Mansion poetry.Section one investigates the edition of Teng Xiang Mansion poetry and the situation of deletion and revision,,analyzes the reasons of deletion and revision,so as to summarize the aesthetic standards of Xue Shiyu and his disciples;section two combined with the background of the late Qing Dynasty and Xue Shiyu’s personal experience,the poems are divided into three themes: the comprehensive display of disorderly society,the meaningful leisure work and the work of visiting and traveling;the third section summarizes the artistic characteristics of Teng Xiang Mansion poetry from Xue Shiyu’s poetry creation and poetry worship.The third chapter is the study of Teng Xiang Mansion Ci.The first section analyzes the edition of the Teng Xiang Mansion Ci,compares it with the deletion and revision of Teng Xiang Mansion poetry on the basis of previous studies,and further analyzes the deletion and revision of Teng Xiang Mansion Ci and the reasons;According to the background of the times and the motivation of Xue Shiyu’s Ci,the second section briefly describes the basic style of Teng Xiang Mansion Ci,which can be summarized as the startling and mourning sounds under the smoke of the beacon fire,the subtle mood projected in the mountains and rivers,the exquisite expression of the thoughts of the literati in the troubled world;the third section studies the artistic achievements of the Teng Xiang Mansion Ci,and further explores the style,characteristics and creative techniques of Xue Shiyu’s Ci.Chapter four studies xueshiyu’s view of eight-part essay and The New Willow of White Door.In the first section,according to Xue Shiyu’s poems and essays and his selected eight-part essays,analyzes his idea of eight-part essay,and further investigates his learning method of eight-part essay;the second section makes a further analysis of the author of the novel,and focuses on the novel itself to explore the relationship between the survival state of the famous prostitutes in Qinhuai and the literati.
