In recent years,online English learning has become a rising way of English learning,which has attracted the attention of many English learners.At the same time,more and more English institutions,English educators and online English learning agencies are cooperating.At the same time,educators also begin to study this new field.In the view of English teaching methods in various schools,English teachers are still in the dominant position in teaching.Students’ motivation is easy to be ignored.Under this background,there is an opportunity to improve the combination of English education and advanced technology in the future.This paper studies the effectiveness of middle school students’ learning motivation on online English learning.Through such research,we think about how the online English learning can practically cooperate with students’ English learning,give directions to the improvement and development of the online English learning in the future,and also arouse opinions and suggestions to English teachers on how to guide students to use the online learning better.Therefore,this study attempts to focus on the following issues:(1)According to the theory of learning motivation,what’s the classification of learners’ English motivation in online learning?(2)How do learners with different of learning motivation perform in online learning?(3)What are the changes in English learning of these learners?This study was conducted by the author in cooperation with a middle school in Nanning.The experimental time is the summer vacation from 2020 to 2021,a total of eight weeks.A total of 50 students participated in the experiment.The research methods include tests,questionnaires,interviews and observation.All data was analyzed by SPSS 19.0 system for quantitative research and qualitative research.The results show that the students’ English learning ability are strengthened,and the students’ interest in learning English is improved.Therefore,it is practical to use online learning to help middle school students.Finally,it analyzes the data results obtained by this research project and provides suggestions for the future development of online English learning,hoping to enlighten students’ English learning using online learning,teachers’ teaching and future research. |
