A Study On The Use Of Bone Technique In Contemporary Ink Figure Painting

Since ancient times,Chinese figure painting has emphasized "writing spirit with shape",which transmits the internal spirit of objects and images through the description of shape,and "bone skill pen" is not only the specific method of "writing shape",but also the key to expressing the character’s temperament.Zhang Yanyuan once said,"a man’s image must be similar in shape,and the shape similarity must be all his backbone".He believes that if you want to achieve the shape similarity,you need to abide by the "bone method" of the object image,describe the "backbone" of things,make the painting achieve "shape similarity" by using a pen,and then achieve "vivid",that is,the so-called "vivid charm".In the process of modernization of Chinese painting,drawing on Western modeling techniques has become the development trend of ink figure painting,but the Western modeling means should be transformed when applied to ink figure painting,and the modeling concept of "bone technique pen" is consistent with the Western modeling concept that attaches importance to structure.Both emphasize the description of shape,Therefore,if we want to apply Western modeling methods to ink figure painting,This paper first explains the internal meaning of "bone technique pen",and then analyzes the application and connotation change of "bone technique pen" in painting combined with the development process of traditional figure painting.Combined with the works of famous artists,this paper focuses on the embodiment of "bone brush" in contemporary ink figure painting,and studies the important role of "bone brush" in the blending of Chinese and Western painting concepts.This topic mainly adopts the methods of example demonstration,literature citation,image collection,induction and summary to present and demonstrate the arguments in the way of pictures and texts.This paper aims to discuss the viewpoint that "bone technique pen" should abide by the object image "bone body",...
