| Jingxin temple is located in the southwest of Yangyi village,Taigu District,Jinzhong City,Shanxi Province.The frescoes of Buddhism are painted between the east and west mountain walls and the back wall of the three Buddha Hall.Although some of the frescoes are washed by rain due to roof leakage,most of them are kept intact.In order to understand the Ming and Qing Dynasty Buddhism murals,as well as the related ideas and culture provide the basis.Judging from the content expressed in the image of the Buddha’s biography in the Sanfo Hall of Jingxin Temple,it is mainly about the deeds of Sakyamuni from birth to Buddhahood.It can be summarized by the "Four Phases of Buddha".Here,the "Four Phases of Buddha" are Taking the four major events related to the Buddha as the themes,the main contents are "enlightenment" and "argument".At the same time,there are more characteristic scene expressions,which are not found in other Buddhist murals,such as "Buddha Mother Sier","Sanxuan Contribution Association","Father and Son Kneeling Buddha",etc.From the composition of the mural,the Sanfo Hall of Jingxin Temple adopts a panoramic landscape style.In the composition,trees,mountains and rocks run through the entire background,some play the role of setting off the theme of the picture,some are the intention of dividing multiple pictures,and some are even simplified into screens to symbolize the background;judging from the artistic language of the murals,the use of fine brushwork The painting method of light color is painted with light ink in the background of light crimson color.The main color is black and white,and the secondary color is blue and green.The overall color is simple and elegant.The character image also has its own characteristics and is well preserved.Therefore,after some literature review and field investigations,the author further elaborates on the Buddhist story murals of the Sanfo Hall of Jingxin Temple from five aspects: the introduction part explains the author’s purpose of selecting and studying the Buddhist story murals in the Sanfo Hall of Jingxin Temple,and states the significance of the author’s selection of the research on the Buddhist story murals in the Sanfo Hall of Jingxin Temple and the recent development of the research on the Buddhist murals in the Jingxin Temple;the first chapter is a concise discussion of the historical evolution and scale of the Jingxin Temple in Taigu,the basic situation of the Three Buddha Hall and the mural images of the Jingxin Temple in Taigu.From the overall understanding and grasping the basic situation of Jingxin Temple and Sanfo Hall,the basic situation of the Sanfo Hall murals is described in detail;the second chapter is a detailed combing of the contents of the Sanfo Hall murals and the drawing The time has been verified;the third chapter is to explain the characteristics of the Sanfodian murals and its causes;the fourth chapter is to describe the ideological connotation of the Sanfodian murals. |
