The Research On Life Consciousness Of Gefei’s Novels ——Take The Novels Since The New Century As An Example

Gefei is one of the most influential writers in contemporary Chinese literature.Over the course of more than 40 years of creation,he has always conquered many readers with his high enthusiasm,unique writing style and charming writing language.Under the baptism of the times,his creative path can be described as "having gone through a thousand sails,he still returns as a young man".From the pioneering narratives of the 1980s to the tendency to return to traditional culture in his works at the beginning of the new century,they all show great literary value.However,no matter how varied his style is,the sense of life implicit in his works is always present.Therefore,this paper seeks to reinterpret Ge fei’s works from the perspective of "life consciousness",using five of his long novels since the new century to explore the writing of Ge fei’s master theme of "life",including the following four aspects:Starting from the two main images of "moon" and "isolated island",we explore the spiritual qualities of Ge fei’s characters,who are either held hostage by their desires under the shadow of the moon or redeemed by the music flowing under the moon;the people in the ’isolated island’ are surrounded by a boundless and inescapable loneliness.The second chapter discusses the important themes of Ge fei’s life consciousness writing.Alienated states of mind are often a sure way to explore the essence of life,and this essay chooses to address two themes,death and madness.The third chapter analyzes the sources of the strong sense of life in Ge fei’s novels.The lonely and fearful life experiences of his childhood and adolescence;the establishment of his dual identity as a writer and academic scholar,which enabled him to have the keen perception of a writer,but also to penetrate into the lives of other academic scholars,enter their world of thought and understand their mental symptoms;and the influence of Tolstoy’s literary thought and the guidance of his mentor Mr.Qian Gurong’s idea that "literature is the study of man",these elements together constitute the fertile ground for the growth of Gefeis’ life consciousness.The fourth chapter explores the value of life consciousness in Ge fei’s novels.From the perspective of the author’s main group of characters,intellectuals,Ge fei’s presentation of tragedy and reflection on human nature are reflected,while Ge fei’s attention and care for the individual life is explored from the aspect of spiritual return to the homeland.
