Research On Creating Abstract Works In "Sn-Co"

At the beginning of the 20 th century,influenced by the western abstract art,the traditional concept and aesthetic way of ceramic art have changed greatly.The pursuit of the functionality of utensils from the traditional concept to the expression of artists’ personal abstract emotions.The creation mode of abstract ceramic art has also become an important branch of modern ceramic art.This paper comprehensively analyzes the influence of abstract art on modern pottery in color,shape,texture and other aspects,and how to create abstract pottery works with the characteristics and appeal of The Times under the promotion of new ideas and new technologies.I will take the creation of the Sn-Co series of works as an example,according to the expression of its abstract form,combined with new creative techniques and materials,enrich the expression form of abstract pottery,and explore the deeper connotation of The Times for the abstract ceramic art of decoration.
