Research On The Indoor And Outdoor Environment Design Of Wuhan Modern Christian Church ——Taking The Hankou Orthodox Church As An Example

After the opening of Hankou,a large number of missionaries came to Han to establish Christian churches all over Wuhan.Church architecture is the carrier of Western architectural culture introduced into China,which has an impact on the architectural form and construction technology of modern buildings in Wuhan.It reflects the highest level of architectural technology under the background of modern society,and has important historical,cultural and architectural artistic value.This article takes the modern Christian church architecture in Wuhan as the research object.The full text is divided into six chapters.The first chapter analyzes the historical background,main research content,purpose,and significance of modern Christian churches in Hankou,defines the three concepts of "Christianity","church",and "environmental design",and analyzes the current domestic and foreign indoor and outdoor environments of Christian churches Design and summarize the research status and organize the research framework of the article.The second chapter summarizes the spread of Christianity in China and Wuhan,and proposes the architectural historical value,artistic value,cultural value and technical value of the modern Christian church in Wuhan.The third chapter first collects relevant historical documents and combines field research to sort out the statistics of the number,distribution,architectural style and characteristics of modern Christian church buildings in Wuhan,and have a more comprehensive understanding of modern Christian church buildings in Wuhan.The Shanghai Road Catholic Church,Rongguang Church,and Alexandnev Church in Hankou area were selected for church case investigations,and the site selection characteristics,plane layout,interior space detail decoration,door and window design,outdoor landscape environment,plant configuration,etc.were analyzed.The fourth chapter proposes corresponding strategies for the existing problems of the indoor and outdoor environment of the church building.The design strategies of "religious environment creation","humanized landscape","cultural facility design","night lighting",and "plant configuration" are selected in the external environment of the church,aiming to make rational use of the outdoor site of the church and create a unique atmosphere Religious and cultural landscape environment.The interior environment design strategy of "repair the old as the old","space optimization","meditation space","atmosphere creation",and "religious decoration" aims to protect and restore the interior space of church buildings and contribute to the sustainable development of church buildings.Reuse design provides case reference.
