| With the development of vocational education reform,secondary vocational education has been greatly concerned by the community,in the meanwhile,the construction of secondary vocational school teachers also put forward higher requirements.English is an important carrier of foreign learning and communication.In order to cultivate international skilled talents integrated with the world,the path to improve the professional quality of English teachers in secondary vocational schools has become a key breakthrough topic.The emergence of workplace learning organically combines work and learning and optimizes the learning style of English teachers in secondary vocational schools.Its emergence has changed the current situation of secondary vocational English teachers’ learning and catered to the trend of vocational education reform and development.Based on experiential learning theory,situational learning theory and action learning theory,this study analyzed and investigated the current situation of English teachers’ workplace learning in 10 secondary vocational colleges of Jilin Province by means of questionnaire,interview and data analysis.This paper analyzes the learning content,learning style,learning motivation and learning effect of English teachers in secondary vocational schools.Through data analysis,it is found that English teachers of secondary vocational schools are weak in practical skills and knowledge,passively seeking change subjectively and passively slacking on work and study.Teachers are content with the status quo,and lack of internal motivation and external support.The evaluation mechanism of the school is single,and the training content can not meet the needs of teachers.In view of the problems existing in the workplace learning of English teachers in secondary vocational schools,this paper constructs the workplace learning of English teachers in secondary vocational schools from four aspects: workplace learning objectives,learning content,path selection and support.First of all,the learning objectives of secondary vocational English teachers should be reconstructed.Constructing teachers’ personal growth goals in learning and constantly improving their own value.In teaching,teachers should reshape their teaching objectives and transform their teaching mode.Set up the correct study idea,reshape the teacher’s thought source,stimulate the teacher’s inner power.Secondly,the content of learning in the workplace of secondary vocational English teachers should be reconstructed.In the training,we should add effective training content suitable for English teaching,focusing on the acquisition of teachers’ practical application knowledge.Thirdly,the path of workplace learning for English teachers in secondary vocational schools should be reconstructed.Provide diversified and mixed learning paths,and eliminate the obstacles of region and time to teachers’ learning.Finally,the guarantee mechanism of workplace learning for secondary vocational English teachers should be reconstructed.Improve the teacher assessment mechanism,create a good learning platform,provide effective teaching support,strengthen the school organization management and personal management mechanism.On the basis of workplace learning,the aim is to improve the professional quality of English teachers in secondary vocational education and cultivate professional skills to adapt to the international community. |
