A Research On The Narratology Of Nolstalgia Animation

In recent years,there has been a wave of nostalgia in all fields of art,including animation,and various art works and memes with "nostalgia" and "feelings" as themes and even gimmicks have emerged one after another.The nostalgic "nostalgia" in English is a combination of the two roots of ancient Greek,namely "go home"（nóstos）and "pain"（álgos）.Narratology is the theory and research on narrative,narrative structure and how the two affect our perception,while animation narratology is a discipline that mainly studies the narrative techniques of animation.Nostalgic animation is a kind of animation that aims to express the author’s thoughts and emotions through the reproduction of personal memory or collective memory.Its characteristic narrative technique makes many famous nostalgic themes or nostalgic style animations deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.Based on the narrative angle,narrative structure and narrative style of nostalgic animation,this article analyzes several classic nostalgic animations as examples,researches and summarizes the creative rules of excellent nostalgic animation,and finally applies it to creative practice.
