Mental state verbs are verbs that express human psychological feelings,experiences and experiences,and reflect human emotions,emotions,wishes and wills.Based on the theory of contrastive linguistics,the research object is the verbs expressing mental state in modern Chinese dictionary and Uygur Chinese dictionary.The research method is the combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis.The comparative analysis of Chinese and Uygur mental state verbs is carried out from the perspective of syntax and semantics.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter describes the reasons for this study.This paper mainly gives a brief description of the research of psychological verbs abroad,and then introduces the research of psychological verbs in Chinese and Uygur in China.Including the early Chinese scholars from the definition of psychological verbs,classification,grammatical features and other perspectives to explore research,and later from the perspective of second language acquisition and the present stage of combining verb valence and other aspects of research results.The second chapter defines and classifies the Chinese and Uyghur mental state verbs.Taking the expressive features and functions of mental state verbs in sentences as conditions,this paper classifies mental state verbs according to their functional framework.The third chapter makes a comparative study of Chinese and Uyghur mental state verbs from three aspects: semantic features,syntactic functions and grammatical combination ability.Based on a large number of corpus examples,this paper analyzes the similarities and differences between Chinese and Uyghur mental state verbs in syntactic properties from the surface syntactic structure.The fourth chapter,based on the results of the comparative analysis of the surface syntacticstructure,combined with the theory of valence grammar,makes a comparative analysis of the deep semantic structure of Chinese and Uygur mental state verbs from two aspects of valence and sentence model.The fifth chapter,based on the summary of the previous four sections,puts forward the research results and defects of this paper.
