The Study Of Su Zhe’s Laozi Learning

Among the various parties and schools in Song Dynasty,Su’s Shu studies occupied a place and had a wide influence.As one of the three Su’s,Su Zhe made great contributions to the development of Su’s Shu studies.Su Zhe made outstanding achievements in history,Confucian classics and philosophy.In his later years,he wrote books behind closed doors,vigorously supplemented and improved Su’s Shu studies and made its academic ideological system more perfect.In his later years,Su Zhe revised Laozi’s interpretation many times,and put forward his own unique views on the philosophical propositions of "Tao","nature","life" and "the relationship between the three religions",thus expounding his old academic thought,which can best represent the characteristics of Su’s Tao that "the deepest is in the moment of self satisfaction of life".In the Northern Song Dynasty,with the revival of Confucianism and the popularity of the theory of mind and nature,Confucian scholars and bureaucrats began to talk about the theory of life.Su Zhe was no exception.He introduced "nature" into "Lao",and regarded "nature" as the embodiment of "Tao" in human beings,thus communicating "nature" and "Tao".Therefore,Su Zhe put forward the method of removing the false and restoring the nature,so that the world can get the understanding of "Tao".In the specific annotation process,Su Zhe adopted the annotation method of aiding Buddhism into Taoism and Confucianism into Taoism.He insisted on taking Confucianism as the foundation,integrating Buddhism and old ideas,so as to achieve the goal of integration of the three religions.In this regard,Su Zhe focuses on the core issues of Tao theory,nature theory,self-cultivation theory,governance theory and so on,as the main content of his Laozi thought.Su Zhe communicated with the three religions with the word of "sex" to claim that "there are no two ways in the world",which became the distinctive feature of his old school thought.In addition,Su Zhe also put forward the idea of equal emphasis on existence and non existence to serve his political ideal,which also shows the characteristics of his old school.Laozi Jie is the condensation of Su Zhe’s philosophical thought,which represents Su Zhe’s laoxue thought,and is also an important thought of Su’s Shu studies.It has a great influence in the Song Dynasty.Zhu Xi,a great master of Neo Confucianism,once criticized and discussed Su Zhe’s Laozi Jie.For later generations,Laozi Jie still plays an irreplaceable and far-reaching influence,which is absorbed and used for reference by later generations.
