Abstract/Summary:
Since the appearance of Ink figure painting,it has shown the appearance of paying more attention to ink than color.With the rise of painting of man-of-letters,as the basic elements of painting,color is replaced by "Sub-colored ink",and the expressiveness of color is ignored.Western culture constantly poured in and collided with traditional Chinese painting since modern times.Based on the present situation of traditional painting and the influence of western painting on Chinese painting,Ink figure painting artists began to make extensive attempts and explorations on the various possibilities of the relationship between color and ink.There are many new styles of the relationship of color and ink.Comparative study method,image analysis method and case study method are used to analyze and summarize the theory for my exploration of coloring in Ink figure painting.This paper combs the different relationships of color and ink in the development of Ink figure painting,discusses the artists and works using color to express image,and summarizes the experience.From my subject matter and color language form innovation,learning from the color characteristics of western expressionism painting and the advantages of modern Ink figure painting,I try to use the color method of "Color instead of Ink" to present the excellent visual effect of inversion of color and ink,give full play to the unique attribute of color,and strengthen the expressiveness of color in Ink figure painting,which is an active exploration of the color language of Ink figure painting.This paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter describes the selection and research content of this research topic,explains the research status in China and abroad,research approaches and methods,and defines the related notions.The second chapter combs and summarizes the various color features of Ink figure painting since its appearance.According to the research topic of "Color instead of Ink",this paper focuses on the analysis and discussion of artists and works who directly use color to depict images.According to their color characteristics,they are divided into two categories: the application and development of "Mogu manner" and the reference of western "color modeling".The third chapter discusses my use of expressionism color subjectivity and symbolic characteristics of reference,analysis of the law of color and the spiritual connotation of color expression.The fourth chapter expounds the reasons why I choose the way of "Color instead of Ink" in my creation,and makes a comparative analysis of the relationship between the traditional paintings’ color and ink and my works’ color and ink under the title of "the inversion of color and ink identity",explains the reason why "ink" plays a dominant role in traditional painting,and explains the responsibility of "color" in "Color instead of Ink".From the perspective of the way of color design to explain the color expression of my creation.To describe the image with "color by Chinese brush" and to render the atmosphere of the picture with "whole rendering",both of them make the color implemented in the picture and become an important basis for emotional expression.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
