| Rock color painting is rooted in Chinese traditional heavy color painting,and a number of important works and painters emerged in the development process.Japanese painting was developed on the basis of meticulous heavy-color painting in the Tang Dynasty,and rock color materials and application techniques have been developed for a long time in Japanese painting,forming a painting form with Japanese cultural characteristics.In contrast,many of today’s meticulous heavy-color paintings often neglect the research and application of techniques such as the use of rock and mineral materials,texture making and paper processing.It is worth further study and serious thinking to study and understand rock painting again,make rock painting return to China,enrich the expression language and technique of Chinese meticulous heavy color painting,and create rock painting art with Chinese characteristics.The first chapter of this paper starts with the basic concept of rock color,the material properties of rock color,the origin of rock color and traditional meticulous heavy color painting,as well as the contemporary meticulous heavy color painting,to understand rock color and meticulous heavy color painting,and analyze the connection and difference between rock color and meticulous heavy color painting and contemporary meticulous heavy color painting.The second chapter analyzes the application of rock color pigments and techniques in contemporary fine brushwork heavy color figure painting.The third chapter takes his four sets of works as an example to analyze the application of rock color painting techniques in the creation practice of his meticulous heavy-color figure painting. |
