Studies On Fiower Arrangement In Song Dynasty Paintings

Flowers have been the symbol of art and humanity since ancient times,the materialization of national character,etiquette and morality,and the externalization of spiritual personality.Chinese traditional flower arrangement art has a long history and rich cultural heritage,which was a prosperous scene in the Song Dynasty.With the improvement of painting technology and the enrichment of material and cultural life,flower arrangement has been turned,which is a beauty of nature,into a beauty of art,so that it is preserved for a long time.This paper takes the aesthetic culture of Song Dynasty as the main line and paintings of Song Dynasty as the main medium,trying to get a glimpse of the style at that time through paintings.Firstly,the article summarizes the prosperity of Chinese traditional flower arrangement art and the reasons for that in the Song Dynasty.Secondly,based on the retained works and combined with poetry literature,the flower arrangement activities of different identities are combed and different aesthetic tastes are revealed.Finally,with the help of the art of flower arrangement,this paper explores the cultural implication behind it and the emotional value endowed by each Subject to show the elegant pursuit of Song people’s cultural life,thus to understand and learn from contemporary aesthetic culture,which has a certain value significance for the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture.
