Research On The Application Of Reconstructive Formal Language In Book Design

From the perspective of adopting reconstructive formal language,this project conducts innovative design research on book design,taking Yu Xiuhua’s book Still Tomorrow as an example.Due to diversified forms of book design nowadays,it is imperative to discover the poetic beauty in the process of book design from a new perspective.Through the study of reconstructive visual expression language,the understanding and imagination of poetry are split and then reorganized,and the morphological structure of book design will be explored.Thus,the poetry can be expressed in another form with the exploration of the restructuring formal language in book design.And the diversified visual experience in the book design will broaden the dimensions of the presentation of poetry works,and then are expected to bring readers more expressions of reading psychology and emotional space.Based on applying visual language’s characteristics of freedom in the form of reconstruction,the possibility of diversified visual perception of poetry in book design will be discussed.Therefore,it will be a wish that people can find their own rich and poetic spiritual world in the bustling daily life and enjoy freedom in mind for a moment.In the section of market demand report,the author first conducts research and analysis on the status quo of reconstructive formal language design.It can be found that reconstructive language will be widely applied in many areas of modern design and shows the features of freedom in form creation,the diversification of visual experience,and the spiritual authenticity.However,there are few theoretical researches on reconstructing formal languages from the perspective of design.Meanwhile,through a combination of various research methods,the author conducts a key research and analysis on the development status of poetry book design at home and abroad.The survey shows that book design about poetry has a large stage to develop,and there are many types of poetry books.Furthermore,since more and more people yearn for poems and dreams,and focus more on spiritual enjoyment,research on the application of reconstructive formal language in book design will have unique advantages and bright future.In the section of theory research report,the source and development process of reconstructive formal language will be firstly analyzed.Then,from the three aspects of manifestation patterns,visual experience and spiritual connotation,different cases about the design of reconstructive formal language will be demonstrated,and thus design features of reconstructive formal language will be summarized.At last,the advantages and values of reconstructive formal language in book design will be presented and elaborated.In the section of practice report,several approaches of reconstructive formal language will be adopted in the creation of the book design on the basis of deep investigation and theory research.Through the design practice of the research,the expression form of the book design will be boarded,and the visual perception of the book design will be diversified.And then a new design angle is expected to be provided for the book design to emphasize the expression of the spiritual connotation and the readers’ reading experience.
